Connecting Lumio to Storeganise

Install the Lumio add-on in Storeganise so the voice agent can read tenant, unit, and lease data across all of your sites.

Lumio is an AI voice agent for self-storage operators. It answers your inbound phone calls 24/7 — handling rental inquiries, payments, gate access, move-outs, and more — by pulling live tenant and unit data from your management system.

This add-on connects your Storeganise account to Lumio so the voice agent can read tenant, unit, and lease data across all of your sites in real time.


Before you start

You'll need:

  • A Storeganise account with admin access to install add-ons.
  • An active Lumio account. If you don't have one yet, visit lumiostorage.com or contact your Lumio account manager.
  • Your Lumio Organization ID — see Step 1 below.

The Lumio add-on installs at the business level. One install covers every site in your Storeganise account — you don't need to repeat this process per facility.


Step 1 — Find your Lumio Organization ID

  1. Sign in to your Lumio dashboard.
  2. Open Settings → Integrations.
  3. Copy the value labeled Organization ID. It looks like 1f8b3c4d-….
If you don't see an Organization ID, contact your Lumio account manager — they'll provision one for you.

Step 2 — Install the Lumio add-on in Storeganise

  1. In Storeganise, go to Admin → Add-ons.
  2. Find Lumio in the marketplace and click Install.
  3. After installation completes, the add-on appears in Admin → Add-ons → Installed.

Step 3 — Configure the add-on

  1. Open the Lumio add-on you just installed.
  2. In the Lumio Organization ID field, paste the ID you copied in Step 1.
  3. Click Save.

Saving triggers Storeganise to notify Lumio. Within a few seconds, Lumio recognizes your Storeganise account and links it to your Lumio organization.


Step 4 — Import your sites into Lumio

Once the add-on is connected, your Storeganise sites are available to import as Lumio facilities.

  1. In your Lumio dashboard, go to Facilities and click Add Facility.
  2. On the onboarding page you'll see a Storeganise card under "Import from your FMS." It shows how many of your Storeganise sites are already linked.
  3. Click Import facilities. A dialog lists every site in your Storeganise account.
  4. Select the sites you want Lumio to manage and click Import. Lumio creates a facility for each selected site and links it to the matching Storeganise site automatically — no manual mapping required.
  5. Repeat any time you add a new site in Storeganise; new sites appear in the same dialog ready to import.

What gets synced

Lumio pulls the following from Storeganise on a regular schedule and whenever a call comes in:

  • Tenants / customers — name, phone, email, address
  • Units & unit types — size, price, availability, vacancy status
  • Leases — active rentals, move-in/move-out dates
  • Invoices & balances — current charges, payment status
  • Sites — operating hours, address, contact info

Multi-site support

If your Storeganise business contains multiple sites, all sites are accessible to Lumio through a single add-on install. There is no per-site setup required.

To turn Lumio on or off for a specific site, use Storeganise's standard per-site add-on toggle inside the add-on configuration.


Troubleshooting

No Storeganise card appears on the Add Facility page

  • Confirm the Lumio Organization ID was entered exactly as shown in your Lumio dashboard (no extra spaces).
  • Re-save the configuration in the Storeganise add-on to retrigger the connection.
  • Allow up to 60 seconds for the initial handshake, then refresh the Lumio Add Facility page.

A Storeganise site is missing from the import dialog

  • Confirm the site exists and is active in Storeganise.
  • Confirm the Lumio add-on is enabled for that site in Storeganise (use the per-site toggle in the add-on configuration).
  • Sites that have already been imported into Lumio don't appear again; check your existing facility list.

Tenants or units aren't appearing in Lumio

  • Confirm the facility was imported in Step 4 above.
  • Sync runs on a schedule; the first full sync after import may take a few minutes.

Voice agent says it can't find a tenant

  • Confirm the tenant's phone number in Storeganise matches the number they're calling from.
  • If you recently created the tenant, allow a sync cycle to complete (typically under 5 minutes).

Voice agent isn't answering at all

  • This is unrelated to the Storeganise add-on. Check your Lumio phone-number forwarding settings or contact Lumio support.

Disconnecting

To disconnect Lumio from Storeganise:

  1. In Storeganise, go to Admin → Add-ons → Installed.
  2. Open the Lumio add-on and click Disable (to pause) or Uninstall (to remove completely).

Uninstalling stops all data sync. Your tenant and unit data in Storeganise is unaffected.
